Up and running - scaffold up for Velux installation and chimney repairs
Top floor rear lading ceiling before
Top floor rear lading ceiling with large Velux installed to flood stairs and both 1st & 2nd flor landings with natural light.
Rear & side kitchen extension - pre demolition of sun-room
Side return to be infilled
Safe termination of all plumbing & electrics in existing kitchen and demolition complete.
The property originally had 4 fuse boards of various ages. As part of the refrub works all electrics tidied up onto 2 compliant boards.
External basement walls waterproofed with Sika®-1 Render 3-Coat System
Original eaves walls removed. Roof structural supports redesigned, roof insulated, boarded and all new and existing walls / ceiling plastered.
Joinery built around the structural supports with MDF T&G doors.
Small Velux window installed to the front elevation in 2nd floor bathroom for natural light.
Existing plant (boiler & hot water cylinder) are being removed along with original blockwork wall forming plant room. New boiler and pressurised hot water cylinder to be installed and walls rebuilt to form enlarged plant room.
The joys of being the last to infill. Neighbours built an extension up to the boundary (no party wall). The foundations over spilled the boundary line complicating our strip foundations.

BC approved strip foundations dug and inspected
2nd floor bathroom stripped out, new 1st fix pipework in place, boarded, UFH & bath installed, walls plastered and floor levelled ready for floor Amtico.
Supertquilt loft insulation installed below rafters. Providing space saving / space age insulation.

Joinery decoration underway
MR MDF T&G and skirting installed. Decoration next then 2nd fix remaining sanitary and brass ware
Hardcore and blinding sand in for the retaining wall toes / foundations and DPM being installed.
Excvation complete for retaining walls. DPM in place and steelwork starting
DPC and inert material in place between the foundations to form slip joint. Ready to pour
Demolition underway for the new steelwork.
